Girl ScoutsMakit Products is an official Girl Scout licensee. Our goal with girl scouts is to bring activities to troops that will enhance motor skills while providing activities that are designed to last a lifetime. Memory making moments begin inside every troop with spending quality time together and many times special craft time impacts that time together. Doing a craft project like the all original Make-A-Plate® program allows troops to fully express the emotions of being a girl scout. It allows for freedom of expression, passion and a safe and creative way to articulate what’s on girl’s mind. We see plates with subjects like wildlife, animals, poems, expressions of love to mom, recipes, notes, decorative designs, hearts, friendship symbols and so much more! A craft project like Make a Plate makes ones memories last forever….
As a partner with Girl Scout councils, Makit offers a very special donation program on the Make-A-Plate® project that allows councils to easily distribute the kits to the troops. Our intention with this program is the show our commitment to the councils and troops and the impact this plate program can have on the life of a girl scout. Our plates are so well made, we hear story after story of the longevity of our plates and how Mom’s all over the country still have the plates girls did 30 years ago.
